Johnny Keko
Creator, Producer and TV Presenter for The Local Game, Johnny absolutely loves every minute of hosting his show and promoting the local football community - heading out to clubs for interviews, hosting alongside friends and presenting a local show for locals on Channel 44!
In 2022, Johnny's local football interview podcast "Kickin' It Local" was a Finalist for Best Sports Podcast at the 2022 Australian Podcast Awards, coming up against podcasts from SBS.
With a background in Commercial Radio, Podcasts, and Commentating the NPL and WNPL, Johnny brings a unique blend of passion and professionalism to his work. His enthusiasm for the game is infectious, and his dedication to showcasing local talent is unwavering. Whether he's on-screen or behind the scenes, Johnny is always striving to create engaging and informative content that resonates with viewers.
Marc Talbot
A Co-Host on The Local Game, Marc brings a wealth of experience to the show, both as a player and within the broader football community. With a senior career spanning over two decades, including a stint in the UK, Marc has played at the highest levels of South Australian football.
A respected figure throughout the league, Marc is a player life member of Football SA, boasting over 300 senior games and earning the prestigious State League 2 Goalkeeper of the Year award twice.
Currently, Marc actively contributes to the local football scene as a junior football coach and NPL commentator, whilst also lending his expertise to a local football podcast.
David Grant
A Co-Host on The Local Game, David brings a wealth of football experience to the show. After a lengthy playing career in Scotland and South Australia at clubs including the Adelaide Hills Hawks, Stirling Districts and Hahndorf, David hung up the boots to coach women's football at the Hawks. David also played a key role in establishing senior football at Mount Barker United in 2000, he now shares his passion for the game with viewers.
With a Degree in Marketing and Business Studies, and a current career in Information Technology, David brings a unique perspective to the show. He's also a talented musician, regularly playing keyboards and guitars in various bands.
In 2018, at the age of 48, he made his debut in the Australia Cup with Woodside United against Elizabeth Vale.
Alessio Carrocci
A Co-Host on The Local Game, Alessio is known for his passionate and insightful commentary, bringing a unique energy to the show. Currently playing State League 2 football for Mount Barker United, Alessio discovered his love for commentary while seeking a different perspective on the game.
He has since honed his skills, providing commentary for good friends and family in the NPL, SL1, and SL2, developing a deep knowledge of players, stats, and records. Alongside his commentary work, Alessio is pursuing a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning and enjoys staying active through the gym.
Alessio has been actively involved in the social media of clubs like Sturt Lions and Mount Barker United, fostering strong connections within the local football community.
Ali Atkins
A Co-Host on The Local Game, Ali brings her unique perspective as both a player and a passionate fan. As a current WNPL player for Adelaide City, she has achieved success on the field, adding to her impressive football resume. Recently, Ali has also ventured into commentary, showcasing her insightful analysis of the game.
Outside of football, Ali expertly crafts delicious coffee as a barista. A true football globetrotter, she has experienced the electric atmosphere of three World Cups as a fan, including the recent tournaments in Qatar and Australia/New Zealand.
Ali brings a dynamic energy to The Local Game, sharing her love for the sport with viewers and offering valuable insights into the world of women's football.
Antonis Pagonis
A regular fixture on The Local Game, Antonis brings viewers up-to-speed with the latest news in his "Pressed for Time" segment. This 30-second segment, airing at the end of each episode, ensures no local football story goes unnoticed.
Beyond the show, Antonis is a dedicated school teacher and a passionate football journalist for Front Page Football, covering the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. He lends his voice to NPL commentary and captures the action through his photography at local matches.
